Amazon Starting a Liquor Store

I've been saying it for years now, that eventually any building currently housing an independent business will one day be owned by Amazon and the structure will end up being nothing more than a warehouse for online shoppers. I continue to hope that day either never happens or is quite a ways down the road. But with stories like this, it's hard to stay optimistic.

Apparently, Amazon's newest venture is . . . opening up a LIQUOR STORE. It'll be in San Francisco and they'll use it to supply all the booze people have delivered with Prime Now . . . but people can go there to buy alcohol in person, too.

There's no word on whether they're planning to open more liquor stores in other cities but, you know, it's Amazon, so probably. Plus it's a good way to encourage more drunk online shopping.
