When the Fresh Prince's mom send him from Philadelphia to live with Aunt and Uncle in Bel Aire in the 90s, its was in the form of a pretty silly sitcom. While there were times over the course of six seasons that the show touched on more serious issues, it was just a fun show. So with the new reboot that is executive produced by Will Smith, is taking a much different angle...it's a drama! The show, which will stream on the NBC service Peacock, is taking the concept of the original and making a more serious show...and if you think about it, it can work!
