Jeffrey Epstein's $22 Million Palm Beach Mansion Will Be Demolished

The $22-million mansion that was previously owned by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is slated to be demolished. The six-bedroom, 14,000-square-foot waterfront home in Palm Beach, Florida, was allegedly used by Epstein as part of a sex-trafficking enterprise. Epstein died in prison in 2019 after being arrested on federal sex-trafficking charges.

The home was put up for sale in July and is under contract to be purchased by Todd Michael Glaser, a Florida-based developer. Glaser, who specializes in tearing down and rebuilding expensive properties, told the Wall Street Journal that the sale will close in December, and he plans to demolish the mansion.

In its place, he plans to build an Art Moderne style residence that he hopes to put on the market for around $40 million. He expects construction to be done by the spring of 2022.

Glaser did not say how much he ultimately paid for the property, which was listed for just under $22 million.

Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse, which he is also accused of using to traffick underage girls, is still on the market for $88 million. Glaser said he has no interest in the property and only buys mansions in Palm Beach, Miami Beach, and Nantucket, Massachusetts.
