What Is Extremely Unhygienic . . . But Everyone Seems to Do It Anyway?
Most of us touch plenty of nasty surfaces every day, without washing our hands afterward . . . even after the lessons we learned during the pandemic. And we KNOW it's gross.
Someone asked the internet, "What is extremely unhygienic . . . but everyone seems to do it anyway?" The responses include:
1. "Touching sticky condiment bottles at a restaurant table."
2. "Licking your fingers when counting money or turning pages."
3. "Pulling a tortilla out of the bag, and then putting it on top of the package, thinking you're keeping it off your countertop. But the outside of the packaging is almost surely worse than your counter."
4. "Eating . . . while bowling. People think the grossest thing about a bowling alley is the rental shoes. But it's the finger holes of the bowling balls."
5. "Scrolling on your phone . . . while on the toilet."
6. "Not washing your bedding enough. Or at all."
7. "Putting your filthy suitcase on your bed."
8. "Wearing your outside shoes INSIDE your home."
9. "Ice machines."
10. "Gym mats."
11. "People letting their cats walk on their dining room tables and kitchen counters." (They don't exactly "let" them up there. If you have a cat, they have been everywhere, whether you realize it or not.)
12. "Sticking grubby, unwashed hands in a bigger bag of snacks that's being shared with multiple people."
13. This person targeted the source: "Going anywhere where there are other people when YOU have a cold / the flu / COVID . . . especially without a mask."
14. Someone said, "People not washing their hands after [pleasuring themselves]." And someone else covered it all, by saying, "Sex."
15. "Buffets."
