National BBQ Day Poll: Burgers or Dogs? Potato Salad or Coleslaw?
It's officially grilling season. So, what are YOU cooking up? A recent poll found our favorite food to grill is burgers, with over 70% of the vote. And an informal BuzzFeed poll backed that up.
Over 15,000 people voted on popular barbecue food match-ups. For each match-up, you can only pick one . . .
1. Burgers or dogs? Burgers got 78% of the vote, hot dogs 22%.
2. Chicken or pulled pork? 47% said chicken . . . 46% said pork . . . and 7% wouldn't touch either of them.
3. Sausage or ribs? Ribs won with 56% of the vote.
4. Potato salad or coleslaw? 66% chose potato salad.
5. Macaroni salad or mac-and-cheese? Mac-and-cheese of course won with 77% of the vote.
6. Watermelon or pineapple? 69% said shut up, it's obviously watermelon.
7. Baked beans or cornbread? Cornbread with 58%.
8. Grilled veggies or corn on the cob? Not even close. Corn on the cob with 70% of the vote.
